Despite the thunderstorms we’ve been having, the cherry flower buds on the trees in front of Hair Innovation are starting to bloom!
I think next week, Hair Innovation will offer a lovely view of the cherry trees with full blossom. 🌸
Last week, Mr. K and I went to the cherry blossom festival held annually in the rural city of Unnan. We had a picnic in the Kisuki area, which has a “cherry blossom tunnel,” as well as views of trees in the surrounding hillsides.
Last year we also went to the festival, but we were too early and the trees had only just started to bloom. This year our timing was perfect: a sunny day and trees in full bloom! It was truly spectacular!!🌸
I wonder where I’ll see next year’s cherry blossoms?
Last week, Mr. K and I went to see the beautiful “weeping” cherry tree at Senjyuin Temple. The temple is situated on a hill and also offers sweeping views of the city, including the castle. The iconic tree is around 250 years old and has been designated as a natural monument of Matsue.
I’m looking forward to next year’s cherry blossoms!
Last week, before it rained, I was lucky my friend took me to see the beautiful cherry trees at Tamatsukuri, on the south side of Lake Shinji. The trees are along both sides of the Tamayu River and are even lit up in the evenings while the trees are in bloom.
The weather had been warming up, but recently it’s been overcast and chilly again. Despite this, the cherry flower buds on the trees in front of Hair Innovation suddenly appeared, a bit earlier than usual!
Soon, Hair Innovation will offer a lovely view of the cherry trees in full blossom. ♡
