This year I was able to attend the ‘Tenjin Matsuri’, a shinto festival held every 24th and 25th of July.
As in past years, the ‘mikoshi’ are paraded down the streets, which are lined with food and game booths.
People of all ages come to enjoy the festival and it’s really energetic and full of smiling faces!
This year, my friend and I wore yukata to the festival, which made it extra fun and special!👘
July’s book has beautiful photos and information about 80 of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Of course, there are some from Japan! My dream is to visit Egypt and see Abu Simbel and Philae. I would like to hear about places you want to see or places you have visited. ♪
You can read more information and see photos of the 1052(!!!) World Heritage Sites, listed by country, here.
Please enjoy looking at July’s books while having your hair colored or permed!
